Main difference to the ME3851A:

The frequency response is extended to the full 400 kHz, as specified in the TCO directives.

many induction cookers work between 100 and 200 kHz.

The filter module for quantitative differentiation the artificial harmonics ("dirty power") as well as traction and mains power supply is included like in the ME3840B.
The filter module is indispensable for applying the much stricter guidelines recommended by the standard of building biology, especially for the frequency range from 2 kHz (“dirty power”) .
LCD reads comfortably in big numbers and directly in the units of the SBM standard values without further calculations.
The "Geiger counter effect" makes it easier to find hidden sources.
The included detailed measurement instruction enables the user to perform relevant measurements of EMF – even without technical expertise. With the help of this instrument you can spot - even obscured - sources of LF pollution.
Also the manual includes the recommendations for limiting values according to the standard of building biology SBM, which allow for a meaningful assessment of the personal level of EMF pollution.

Kleiner Testbericht ME3951A
Das NF Messgerät ME-3951A habe ich erst vor kurzem erhalten daher ist eine ausführliche Bewertung für eine Messanalyse zu früh. Soweit funktioniert das Messgerät die angezeigten Werte auf dem Display würde ich mal als plausibel beurteilen, da ich aus diesem Fachgebiet komme und mir die Einheiten bekannt sind. Werde aber den Analyser in meinem R&S Messlabor Testen.
Was ich aber Bewerten kann ist das Gerät selbst. Ich rechnete nicht damit dass ich den Analyser gleich nach dem Auspacken mal von innen ansehen kann, da das Gehäuse an den 4 Ecken nicht richtig zusammengeklickt war konnte ich den Deckel einfach abziehen resp. er hält gar nicht richtig. Der 9V NiMh Akku ist das erste was auffällt, kreativ in ein zusammengeklebtes Papier eingepackt! Als Isolation hätte da Pertinax (Hartpapier) schon besser ausgesehen. Das gleiche gilt auch für den Batt.-Test Druckschalter, der fast die beiden Pins vom LCD Display berührt. Ansonsten ist eine Hochwertig Bestückte SMD Platine mit einem kleinen Huckepack PCB verbaut. Über die vier Schiebeschalter lässt sich streiten, da hätte ich die von Marquardt verbaut und kein China Produkt, dann hätte sich auch der kleine Papierschnipsel unter dem Frequenzwahlschalter erübrigt. Das Halbschalen Kunststoff Gehäuse sieht nach Wittko aus Typ K12 (2,80 Euro) und muss dem entsprechen für die Einbauten bearbeitet werden was man auch gut sehen kann. Das hätte ich in meiner Werkstatt professioneller gefertigt. Das Gerät hat ja doch einen Stolzen Preis! Fazit, es ist doch ein Solides Gerät man bekommt gute Elektronik für den Preis und ich würde es auch weiter empfehlen. Danke! 1 Stern Abzug wegen dem Gehäuse.

Das Gerät misst genau und ist für mich zur Erfassungen von niederfrequenten Elektrischen Feldern und Magnetfeldern sehr gut geeignet.

Funktioniert wie beschrieben
Preis Leistung ist gut. Auch eine Karte mit der Werkskalibrierung liegt bei. Den Analog und Digitalanschluss konnte ich aufgrund von Zeitlicher Kürze noch nicht testen, aber die Anzeige macht Sinn und das Gerät ist hilfreich.
