Even a small commercial 12V gel- or AGM-battery (6 Ah) is enough to power the HFE59B with UBB27 antenna for 36 hours. Thus, in conjunction with the NFA (current-supplied for 36h by its internal battery), high frequency can be recorded in parallel to the low frequency 3D magnetic field for one and a half days.

For off-grid extra-long recordings with any 12V gel- or AGM-battery

The cable configuration includes two 20 cm long cables with small crocodile clips for contacting the battery poles, adapted to a suitable plug for our DC socket. Along with that we provide some hints for the choice of a suitable battery with sufficient capacity for the task.
This gives you full freedom of choice in terms of manufacturer, capacity and a cheap provider of the battery itself. All that is certain is that a standard 12V gel- or AGM-battery battery represents the best compromise between available capacities and favorable charging technology, ease of maintenance, price and size. Please note that especially cheap no-name products often don't reach their specified capacity. More hints in the supplied documentation.
You benefit from the extensive testing of different technologies that we have already carried out. The classic power banks and other lithium technologies have not proven themselves for various reasons.
