High Frequency

Electrosmog refers to the sum of all low-frequency electric and magnetic DC and AC fields as well as high-frequency electromagnetic radiation (e.g., mobile networks, 5G, Wi-Fi, DECT, Bluetooth, smart meters, radar). Depending on the frequency range, a distinction is made between low frequency and high frequency; the transition is not fixed but gradual. To measure electrosmog reliably, it is essential to choose a high-frequency meter that fits your specific application. The easiest way is to use our interactive decision aid for electrosmog meters

In recent years, exposure to high-frequency radiation has increased significantly — mainly due to the expansion of mobile networks, 5G and Wi-Fi. Broadband rollout is important, but it also raises new questions for everyday life, the home environment and the workplace. With the right high-frequency electrosmog meter, you can reliably assess your personal exposure, measure it precisely and compare results reproducibly — providing a solid basis for identifying potential sources and deriving sensible measures.

Development & production “Made in Germany”

As a manufacturer with many years of experience in development and production, we offer high-quality high-frequency meters for reliable measurement of HF radiation / electrosmog. Depending on the model, our HF analyzers cover a measurement range from 27 MHz up to 10 GHz. This allows you to measure many sources: from CB radio, radio and TV to LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi and DECT, all the way to radar. This means you are well prepared for future wireless technologies — our HF measurement technology covers (almost) the entire practically relevant high-frequency range.

High-frequency meters: technical details

Our electrosmog meters are fully frequency-compensated. This means no frequency range is overestimated, underestimated, or ignored. As a result, you can rely on reliable, reproducible readings. Our HF analyzers generally display the sum of all incoming signals present at the measurement location — not just the strongest frequency. Using the device settings, the entire electromagnetic radiation present can be mapped from the MHz to the GHz range. That is exactly what sets our measurement technology apart from simple “pocket” HF detectors. Gigahertz Solutions stands for measurable accuracy, true broadband capability, and clear measurement practice — without any hocus pocus.

Track down sources with the LogPer directional antenna

Our HF analyzers come with a full-featured LogPer directional/measuring antenna. This clearly sets them apart technologically from compact pocket devices without an external antenna.  A Gigahertz Solutions meter with a LogPer antenna lets you locate and measure even hidden sources of high-frequency electromagnetic radiation thanks to its high sensitivity. Measurements can be performed indoors as well as outdoors (protect the device from moisture!).

HF measurement technology for everyone – clear & practical

With audio analysis, even beginners without an electronics background can distinguish many typical HF sources such as mobile networks, Wi-Fi, 5G, DECT or radar — simply by listening and comparing with the sound samples on our website.  Each device includes a detailed step-by-step measurement guide with building biology guideline recommendations. This makes it easy to assess personal high-frequency exposure and measure your environment systematically.

We offer individual devices as well as kits with matching accessories — for private users and professional users alike. If you are unsure which device fits your needs, please use our decision aid, where all models and measurement ranges are listed clearly. Our team will be happy to help if you have any questions.

Our meters are easy to use and straightforward to interpret. Building biologists, environmental physicians, alternative practitioners — and non-technical users — will find the right high-frequency meter at Gigahertz Solutions
