For a complete Faraday cage, canopies should also be shielded from below. This canopy mat has a very high shielding attenuation, is very flat and comes with complete grounding material. Suitable for the double bed canopy. The scope of delivery includes the grounding plug GP1 for Schuko sockets E/F and the canopy connector GCMV for contacting the canopy either with the Velcro strip or a magnet.

This canopy mat consists of three overlapping lanes of HNG80 material with an 80 dB shielding attenuation. One end of the lanes has small pre-mounted metal plates for the connection of the grounding components. If you decide to use this canopy mat, you should completely cover it with fabric or a carpet. This cover also hides the 4 mm high electrical connections and cables behind the bed.

Assembly instructions (see picture with numbering above):

Lay out the two or three lanes (1) overlapping by about 5 cm, with the connecting plates all on the same side and with the stepped side of the plate facing up.
Connect the two or three lanes (1) with the 85 cm long GL85 cables (4). Use the black clamping discs when tigthening the cable lugs.
Connect the canopy wire (3) with the 85 cm long GL85 cable (4). Use the black clamping discs when tigthening the cable lugs.
Connect the grounding plug (2) to the 500 cm long GL500 cable (5). Use the black clamping discs when tigthening the cable lugs.
Connect the canopy wire (3) to the canopy, either with magnetic plates or the velcro.
Have the grounding plug (2) firmly mounted in a socket by an electrician.
